Congratulations! You are reading my first ever blog post! This may technically be the second, as I learn how to revise and publish. However, according to my stats page, no one saw the first try. That is why I am here – to learn!
This site, schmidtbyamanda.com will be my platform for exploring social media ideas, submitting assignments, and experimenting with the skills I learn as I go back to school. Nine years after graduating from the University of Delaware, the University of Florida has accepted me into Gator Nation to explore the evolving world of Social Media.
This Introduction to Multimedia Communications class has already taught me more than I expected to learn, just getting to this point in my blog. I am looking forward to meeting people actively working in the social media field, as well as gaining a better understanding how social media impacts the business world. With this knowledge, I hope to more efficiently experience and utilize current communication applications!
